The IB&T trade fair team look forward to giving visitors to booth 775 in hall 5.2 an overview of the card_1 software solution’s various railway modules and their new features. Numerous functions have been added or revised in card_1, such as the calculation of shunting limit signals for switches and the GND-Edit interface.
A newly developed transformation of open-source geodata as per DB_REF for working with DB InfraGo’s local traffic facility coordinate system enables the scale-free creation of components with corresponding routing guidelines in the area of platform design.
In live demos, IB&T employees will demonstrate how the card_1 Platform Generator can be used to create parameter-based outer and central platforms, including structures, planning DTMs, cross-sections, topography lines and setting-out points. card_1 also offers functions necessary for railway design in the areas of railway structure modeling, railway surveying, signal planning with ProSig®, constriction management and tracks generated from point clouds. With its partner products DESITE BIM (VDC Manager) and Bluebeam Revu, useful synergies can be harnessed to make working with the BIM method or collaborating with plans in PDF format easier.
The IB&T subsidiary GEO DIGITAL GmbH will also be at the InnoTrans stand to present the current version of its GEOPAC solution for ELITECAD. The CAD solution for public transport is used by well-known transport companies that run their own underground and tram networks as well as engineering offices to design rail-based municipal transport routes. The Düsseldorf-based GEO DIGITAL GmbH nicely rounds off the range of products offered by the IB&T Group at the trade fair.
