More than 5,000 visitors found their way to Hanover from 21-23 September 2021 and took part in the expo and conference platform for geoinformation and geodata. Spread over three exhibition halls, the exhibitor stands and the extensive lecture programme offered many opportunities to learn about the latest trends and innovations.
The card_1 stand in Hanover was well attended. Existing and potential customers engaged in lively discussions and had the various software solutions from IB&T and the co-exhibitors G&W Software GmbH and Thinkproject with EPLASS CDE presented to them in live demos. In addition to a sneak preview of card_1 Version 10, the processing of laser scanner data and its further use for road planning was in particularly high demand, as were the water management components with the modules for sewer and pipeline planning, the topics of as-built modelling and 3D symbols as well as the cost programmes. The presentations on 22 September in the Conference and on the Expo Stage on topics such as smart infra-modelling technology or working with point clouds in card_1 were also very well received.
The virtual trade fair stand had extensive informational material, such as product videos and flyers, ready for the visitors. Presentations were also held on the digital platform and employees from the IB&T headquarters in Norderstedt were available for discussions. Thanks to the hybrid concept, the transition between the digital and real world was smooth and offered visitors in Hanover the opportunity to get in touch with the experts at the digital stand and exchange ideas.
We would like to thank all our visitors for their interest in our software solutions and the stimulating conversations. A big thank you also goes to our co-exhibitors and the entire trade fair team, who were actively involved on site in Hanover and digitally.
